In September 1994, a few dedicated parents launched The Aptos Academy to provide a place where learning was valued, where our children could discover and develop their creative talents in a high standards environment, where they would gain in respect and responsibility — to themselves, to their classmates, to the community, and to the larger world.

Our emphasis is upon clarity of thought, full comprehension, and the ability to successfully apply knowledge to life. We've found these fundamentals of learning act as a springboard to the discovery and realization of talents, interests, and potential.
