Bournemouth Society for the Visually Impaired is the oldest charity in Bournemouth having been established in 1911. It will be celebrating its Centenary next year! The Society provides advice and support to visually impaired people in Bournemouth and the surrounding area.
Services include a Resource Centre offering daily living aids, Counselling, Befriending, transcription services, quarterly Newsletter and a full programme of social activities.
BSVI receives no Government funding and relies on its own fundraising and the support of its Friends and local businesses to continue its work.
