How to Delete your Account

When you have freecycled all the stuff you have to freecycle, and when you have all the free stuff you need, and when you want to stop all those great emails full of awesome free things, this is how you delete your account. You may want to take a moment to think about it, but if you are sure you want to do this, the steps below will show you how. Also, we hope you will think of us again for your freecycling needs.

How to Delete your Account

You will need to log in to your account and go to your main page. On the top tool bar you will need to click the link called 'Settings'

Step 2: Alter Account Settings

This is the page where you can edit and update your profile. You will want to click the link 'Change Settings/Delete Account'

Step 3: Scroll Down

This is the page with the settings for your account. You will want to scroll down to the bottom and click the link 'Permanently Delete My Account'.

Step 4:

If you are sure you want to do this, click 'Delete My Account'. It will take up to 24 hours for your email to be removed from our system, so you may get an email with more free stuff up for freecycle in that time. Don't worry, it should be your last one. However, if you want to sign up with us again, we would be more than happy to have you back.
