Freecycling stuff from the community, to the community. All for free.
Freecycle in your area and find the free stuff that you need!

FreeMesa.org Fact Sheet

Freemesa.org is a website that allows its members to exchange free stuff with their local communities for free, and connects them with people who could really use the stuff they want to freecycle. This saves the giver from having to throw the free stuff into a landfill, and it saves the recipient from having to buy brand new stuff at full cost. In this way, FreeMesa works to reduce pollution, efficiently recycle stuff, and increase the standard of living of its members.

Member Services

Family Friendly: The FreeMesa demographic is primarily women (71%) under 35 (61%) with children (76%).

Free Stuff: Everything must be Free, Legal, and Family Friendly

Local: Offers and Requests are emailed once a day to members in range. This is 20 miles by default. Members can set the website to notify them of posts from between 0 and 50 miles from their house.

Global: FreeMesa.org is World Wide - helping people to find free stuff and freecycle their old stuff all over the world.

Friendly: Members can set up and maintain their own profiles and pictures. This helps people get to know the other members on the site better.

Powerful: The posting featured is full featured. Members can upload photos of their free stuff, as well as edit them after posting, and ultimately remove them after the free item has been given away.

Easy: FreeMesa features videos showing how to use the website, how to give away free stuff, and all other features, with step by step instructions.

Group Services

Financial Support: FreeMesa offers its groups a Revenue Sharing program that enables them to receive a percentage of the ad revenues generated by their group's activity. As most of the groups are non profits and social organizations, this support really helps them make ends meet.

Personalized: Groups are given their own login page; customizable with their own look and feel and logo.

Flexible: Groups can make their own rules. While public posts must be free, groups can allow their members to post things for sale.

Painless:A group can be created with its own logo, color scheme, rules, forums, with accounts for its membership automatically created, and emails sent out notifying them of the new group. All of this can be done in minutes, and there are training videos showing each step of the way.
