How Does it all work? Watch the Movie!

We have created a series of videos to help explain the various features of the site, and to hopefully resolve most of the frequently asked questions. You can see them here:

How do you send messages to people or add them as friends?

If you want to respond to a post that someone has made in the forum, you can do this by clicking on the 'Send (user) a message' button below their post.

If you are looking for your friends or for people to chat with, you can find them this way:

In order to send someone a message, you have to first find their profile. Either you can click on their name next to a post that they have made, or you can search for them in the search pages, or you can even find them by clicking on the profiles of your friends and then looking at their friends.

Once you have found a person you wish to send a message to, look just below their picture on their profile page under the heading of 'Actions'. These links are labeled 'Send Message' and 'Send Friend Request'. These are the links that you need to send them a message, or to add them as a friend.

I can't find the email to activate my account or I lost my password.

The email to activate your account probably got sent to your spam folder. You may want to check there. If you can't find it, you can go Here and enter your email. An email containing both your login information and a link to activate your account will be sent to you.

How do I find things in my area?

When you log in, on your home page, you should see a section titled
'Recent Offers and Requests Within X Miles of your postal code (xxxxx)'
Below this you should see offers in your area.

If you want to search a different area, you can either click 'Change Settings' or go to the search page (found in the top bar 3rd from left). Here you can enter any zip code or distance you would like to search.

Still have questions? We would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
